Alicia Roth Weigel is an activist, author and consultant working to improve the landscape for marginalized populations in the South and worldwide. A human rights commissioner for the City of Austin and member of Collective Speakers bureau, her work is featured in Focus Features’s film Every Body—directed by Julie Cohen of the documentary RBG—and the memoir Inverse Cowgirl, published by HarperCollins.

Intrepida Strategy LLC is the vehicle Alicia uses to build culturally competent healthcare programs, advocate for the advancement of gender equity and foster a more socially and economically sustainable economy. With a primary focus in healthcare consulting, she has also run political campaigns, launched NGOs, brokered public-private partnerships and raised funds to accelerate social change.
